Thank you for your interest in this site and for sending in your questions. With this first update, we are including questions that have been requested from various regions. Visit back to the site for more updates on a global and regional level.
- Question: It's exciting to see what the future holds. Tom, once things settle down, will we have a regional meeting to bring everyone together from both companies? Also, how do we handle inquiries from current customers asking for Sigma Coatings products?
Answer: Yes, we are planning on having regional meetings where other senior executives and I can take the time to meet with employees.
- Question: How will we be updated on the integration?
Answer: Great question. We are going to be communicating to employees in several ways: face-to-face, online, and with teleconferences. Please feel free to “bookmark” this site and come back to it often to see new updates. Also, we will be having regular regional teleconferences.
- Question: Where will the head office be?
Answer: PMC has an advantage with having equal sales strength in each of the three regions: Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Americas. We will be having our Technical group headquartered in Amsterdam, the Marketing group will be split between Pittsburgh and Amsterdam, and the corporate office will be in Pittsburgh, since that is where PPG Industries is headquartered.
- Question: I am a legacy PMC (Sigma) customer, but am interested in ordering Sigma (PMC) products, how can I best do that?
Answer: Continue working with your current sales representatives and let them know of your interest. They would be your best resource.
